Clarity before commitment
We do the work
Senior, not junior

Clarity first. A plan that makes sense. Then we help you deliver it.

Most teams aren't stuck because they lack talent or effort. They're stuck because priorities are competing, decisions are slow, and effort is spread too thin. That's what we help fix.

Response within one working day • Fixed prices • Start small if you need to

Three phases. One connected process.

We don't hand off between phases or bring in different teams. The same senior people take you through the whole journey.

1

Discovery

Understanding what's really happening — not just the symptoms. We talk to stakeholders, review what exists, and surface the real blockers.

  • Stakeholder and user interviews
  • Current state review
  • Blocker identification
  • Context-setting for what follows
2

Roadmap

Turning discovery into a clear plan. Priorities, sequencing, trade-offs, ownership, and what good looks like. Practical, not theoretical.

  • Prioritised actions and initiatives
  • Sequencing and dependencies
  • Clear trade-offs surfaced
  • Ownership and success metrics
3

Delivery

Helping you execute against the roadmap. Hands-on support across product, operations, customer experience, and content where it matters most.

  • Fractional leadership or sprint delivery
  • Delivery rituals and operating rhythms
  • Progress against the roadmap
  • Adjustment as reality shifts

Principles we work by

How we approach every engagement, regardless of context or client.

We design for the real world

Limited time. Real stakeholders. Competing pressures. Constrained budgets. If something doesn't help you move forward in your actual situation, we don't do it.

Clarity before commitment

We always start with discovery. We want to understand your context and constraints before recommending anything. You shouldn't buy a solution before understanding the problem.

Momentum is the point

Our goal is always progress — not perfect plans. We favour useful over elegant, shipped over theoretical, and decisions over analysis paralysis. Momentum creates more momentum.

We share our thinking

We explain why, not just what. We build your team's capability as we go. The goal is that you become more capable over time — not more reliant on us.

Honesty over comfort

If something isn't working, we say so. If a proposed solution won't solve the real problem, we say that too. We'd rather have a difficult conversation early than a difficult project late.

Lightweight where possible

We don't add process for its own sake. We use the minimum governance, documentation, and ceremony that creates genuine value. Complexity is a cost — we manage it carefully.

What we are and what we're not

Being clear about what to expect when you work with us.

We're not...

A large consultancy that assigns you junior staff and charges senior rates
Advisors who hand you a 90-slide strategy deck and disappear
Specialists in one narrow discipline who ignore the full picture
Tied to a methodology that gets applied regardless of your context
Incentivised to extend an engagement longer than it needs to be
Pure design agency, pure technology consultancy, or pure strategy house

We are...

Two senior practitioners — you always work directly with Rosalyn and Matt
People who create the plan AND help you deliver it
Senior operators who use whatever tools will move things forward
Adaptable to your context — not one-size-fits-all
Fixed-price and outcomes-focused — success means you need us less
Cross-discipline: product, delivery, CX, research, service design, content

What we actually do inside organisations

We're senior operators who use whatever tools will move things forward. The discipline follows the problem.

Product direction

Roadmaps, prioritisation, backlog management, product strategy. Getting teams focused on what genuinely matters.

Delivery leadership

Agile and hybrid delivery. Sprint planning, retrospectives, dependency management. Momentum that sticks.

Customer experience

Journey mapping, experience audits, usability testing, CX strategy. Understanding what customers actually experience.

User research

Interviews, testing, observation, synthesis. Grounding decisions in real-world evidence, not assumption.

Service design

When services are complex, we map and redesign end-to-end — across channels, teams, and systems.

Operating rhythms

Leadership cadences, reporting, decision-making. The habits and rituals that make organisations actually work.

Fractional leadership

CPO, Head of Delivery, CX Director. Senior leadership embedded with your organisation, scaled to your needs.

Content strategy

When content and messaging are part of the problem — and they often are — we bring alignment between what you say and what you do.

Common ways to start

Not sure where to begin? Here's how most clients get going.

Start with a Clarity Session

£595

The lowest-risk way in. One focused session — remote or on-site — to understand your situation, surface the real blockers, and agree clear next steps. Many clients get more value from this than months of internal discussion.

How it works in practice

How do you get started with a new client?
We always start with discovery — understanding your context, constraints, and what's genuinely getting in the way, not just the symptoms you're describing. Sometimes that's a 2-hour clarity session that gets you unstuck immediately. Sometimes it's a more thorough discovery process over a few weeks. The right approach depends on the complexity of your situation. We won't recommend more than you need.
What makes your approach different to other consultancies?
A few things. First, we do the work — we don't hand off after a slide deck. Second, you always work directly with Rosalyn and Matt — no juniors, no account managers, no handoffs. Third, we're cross-discipline — product, delivery, CX, research, service design — which means we see the full picture rather than optimising one area while creating problems elsewhere. And fourth, we're honest. If something won't work, we say so.
How long does a typical engagement take?
It depends on what you need. A Clarity Session is a single intensive working session — you can start next week. A Momentum Sprint is two weeks. Fractional partnerships run month-to-month and can continue as long as they're useful. We always start with the minimum engagement that will create genuine value, and scale up from there if it makes sense. We don't have standard contracts that commit you to more than you need.
Can you work with our existing team?
That's how we prefer to work. We embed with your team, not alongside it. We bring them into the process, share our thinking, explain decisions, and build their capability as we go. We're not trying to be indispensable — we're trying to make you more capable. Many clients find they need us less over time, which we consider a success.
How do you handle it when priorities change mid-engagement?
Pragmatically. We understand that real organisations change — priorities shift, new information emerges, leadership decisions change direction. If something important shifts, we adapt. We'll have a clear conversation about trade-offs, agree revised priorities, and continue moving forward. We don't hide behind scope documents when the world changes.
Do you only work with certain types of organisations?
We work with founders, scaleups, SMEs, large enterprises, charities, housing associations, and public sector organisations. What matters more than type is that you have a genuine problem to solve, senior sponsorship for the work, and a willingness to engage honestly. We're not right for everyone — but when there's a fit, we get things done.
What does working with you actually look like day-to-day?
It depends on the engagement type, but typically: clear kickoff and agreement on scope, a mix of working sessions (remote or on-site), async communication between sessions, and regular outputs you can see and use. We don't disappear for weeks and resurface with a document. We're responsive, communicative, and practical. You'll always know where things stand.
